I saved to my mac desktop then iphoto. The image in iphoto does not look as good as what I saved on the desktop. Why would that be? I would like to print he image and get the same quality as when I download without having to edit it. I also tried to sent the image to my wife's computer and the result was computer symbols. I am able to do either of the foregoing or do you prevent this for some reason? |

You should be able to download and transfer the images to any computer freely. The image format used is Portable Network Graphics or PNG for short. We use PNGs because they provide the best quality. Your wife's computer may not be capable of opening PNG type images. If your wife is using Windows, she can download IrfanView at http://www.irfanview.com/ That is a free program that can open images properly without reduction of quality. I am unsure what free solutions are available on Macs to be able to view PNG, but it seems like iPhoto has default support. |
