2021-04-09 10:33:25 MikeBurns_0 Is there a way to see what difference there is among 1800px, 3600px and 7200px pgn files for a 1952 aerial? If there isn't more detail then what is the advantage of purchasing the higher resolution?

The resolution you see in the viewer is the actual resolution of the image scans we received from our sources.  More pixels doesn't mean more resolution if you're zoomed in pretty close.  The only time you would need the higher pixel counts in a download, is to select more area.  Unless you're zoomed out to the higher zoom levels when you choose your area, you won't need the higher pixel downloads.  

 

The higher pixel counts aren't offered to try an upsell you to a "better resolution" photo.  They are offer to allow you to select a larger area (ie: an entire subdivision) and download it in one piece, instead of multiple smaller selections.  Hopefully that helps clarify the misconception.
