Hey Historic Aerials buffs, We'd like to hear from you!  We're always amazed at the unique interests our users have, and unexpected ways our customers utilizing the website.  We've heard of customers searching for a meteorite crash site, searching for Civil War memorabilia, gathering specifics for Model Railroad layouts, and even had law enforcement looking for the location of a body in an area that had changed drastically over time.  We always enjoy hearing about the unexpected uses that our website allows users to explore.  This is OUR history, we’d love to hear from you.  Who knows, maybe one day we’ll have a TV show and have an opportunity to share that story.  Let’s make this fun, let us know what you found, how it worked out.  Did you find what you were looking for?

Another point of interest in my town was the NIKE/AJAX missile defense site. Watching it go from wooded area to active defenses site to an abandoned relic and now just a parking lot for BOE busses. The troop houses and site were featured in a Weird NJ article. One question that begs to be answered (at least in my head that is) what is the history behind all of these aerial photos dating back to 1931? Who took them and why?
